Google added a new feature to their Maps app yesterday. Now on a map, you can download it to use as part of offline. Even if your phone does not have mobile data or wi-fi, you can now use this app. This is not entirely new. Even before, when there is no internet, it was shown some time ago on the map. But now information on turn-by-turn driving directions and on the business locations on the map is also available online.
How to use this feature:
First, install Google Maps on your phone if you do not have it. Then search for a place. You will also see a track on the location you searched for.
Give a map to the download section. Then the download will begin downloading the map part.
This way, you can get the maps you downloaded from "Your Places".
In some instances, when the Internet connection is not available, this application automatically logs in offline mode.
